In my lessons, I focus on making learning clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I believe that visual learning is a powerful tool, so I incorporate diagrams, flowcharts, and real-life examples to help students understand key concepts and processes. This approach allows them to see the bigger picture and strengthens their ability to retain information. Repetition is a key part of my teaching style, helping to reinforce knowledge and build confidence for long-term recall.

In addition to visual aids, I place a strong emphasis on interactivity. My lessons often include active recall, quizzes, and discussions that encourage students to think critically and apply their learning. This not only deepens understanding but also fosters the ability to use knowledge in new contexts.

From my experience, I’ve worked with students with dyslexia and ADHD, adapting my teaching style to meet their unique learning needs. I use strategies such as breaking tasks into manageable chunks, providing clear instructions, and offering flexible learning timelines to support them. These adjustments ensure that all students can engage with the material confidently and effectively.

One of my unique approaches is helping students create their own revision materials. By encouraging students to develop their own summaries, flashcards, or practice questions, they become more actively involved in the learning process. This personalised approach enhances their understanding and boosts their confidence, ensuring they feel well-prepared and in control as they revise for exams.
