I discuss key points from lectures and/or course materials within a clear and established programme. Tutorials may take a variety of forms, including those appropriate to problem-based learning and real life examples to improve your understanding of the legal principles in practice. Lessons will take place online and I am happy to work 1-2-1 or with groups to encourage discussion. You can suggest topics which you would like to form the focus of our discussion or we can follow your course syllabus and materials to ensure you have a sound knowledge of all the required law topics.

I am a practising solicitor with over 10 years' experience tutoring commercial law at University level, marking student assessments and preparing students (undergraduate and graduate) for law examinations.

My role as your tutor is to stimulate discussion and help you achieve the set learning outcomes and enhance your understanding of key learning points arising from your studies of commercial law. I will make our discussions interesting and you will leave with the most important points to consolidate your understanding. I will also monitor your academic progress and provide feedback on any topics where your understanding is weaker. Following tutorials with me, you will have a sound knowledge of the topics and thorough explanation of complex issues. This will allow you to approach any law examinations with confidence and to impart the importance of application of knowledge to difference situations and wider areas of study, whether that be in law or outside of law.
