General Lesson Plan (adaptable if needs require): (1) Look a an essay question and identify with the student what the question is asking for and what a good answer should include; (2) work with the student to identify what sources are relevant in order to provide a good answer; (3) go through different ideas and theses about the particular topic and allow the student to come to his/her own conclusion; (4) provide a scaffold of a good answer to essay question; (5) ask the student to either write an essay plan or write a short essay for the next session which I can mark.
