I am Chinese and have been living overseas for several years in Thailand, New Zealand and I am currently doing my PhD in Poetry Text Practice as Research at the University of Kent, England. I also hold the certificate of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.

I worked as a Chinese Teacher at St Gabriel’s College in Bangkok and my key responsibilities are as follows:

• Use learning techniques such pictures and context-based techniques to develop students’ vocabulary for day communications
• Coordinate with other teachers to design and finalise the curriculum
• Teach and improve students' speaking and writing skills
