I have over a decade experience of lecturing and teaching. I use visual, aural, reading and kinesthetics styles, as appropriate.

I believe everyone can be excellent. Endowment + Effort = Excellence is a mantra I use to bring out the best in people I come in contact with. We are all endowed naturally with different levels of intellect - (intelligent quotient) but it does not have to limit our abilities. By putting the necessary effort, one can attain excellent.

I would assist in bringing out your potential for excellence through inquiry based method, for example, you might ask a question, rather than feed the answer straight away, I will give you the opportunity to answer by asking question that could prompt you to think outside the box, nudging you along till we get the desired answer. Through this, I would have allowed critical thinking and self - awareness, this allows reflection. The consequence is improved learning, understanding and application rather than memorization devoid of knowledge.

I believe a student has the final decision on what is to be achieved. This can be achieved through setting goals from the onset and I come in to help attain those goals through collaborative effort, pointing out useful resources, short -cuts, and tips that would enhance the experience. I am empathetic, fully aware that sometimes things might not go according to plan. In such cases, I will give you the support if and when needed.

Success is possible. Everyone has the potential to excel, the issue is how much do you want it. I would like to assist you along the path.
