I prepare each topic with materials and activities. I start from the simplest. I use Total physical response (TPR). I use repetitive patterns. I use communicative approach. I have been able to succeeded with children who failed regularly. I was able to succeed in this by becoming their friend. I studied their behavior and where their interest is then I act on that. I remove distractions. I respect them, I am fair with them, and very patient. This way you get their strengths and weakness. I prepare each topic with materials and activities.
Assign homework and interesting exercises so they don't get bored.
Identify students with special requirements and needs and create individualized plans.
Keep a record of students progress. I am a master of lesson and this the foundation of successful teaching. I change activities if there are not producing results. I use nursery rhymes to introduce new topics.
