Basically, my first day with a prospective student is largely interaction-based. I often ask students very basic mathematical questions so as to have an idea about where exactly to begin the lesson from. Depending on the foundation of the student, I usually like to revise topics like quadratic equations, simultaneous equations, and some topics that are fundamental to understanding other topics in Mathematics . For advance level students, I usually run through some of the basics and then focus on the course contents of the exam such a student is preparing for. I have over 14 years experience in teaching mathematics at both secondary school and university levels.
