I have been a mathematics and science tutor for the past 7 years both physically and online. I have an engineering degree which gives me prerequisite knowledge to teach these subjects. Ny teaching methodoly includes giving hands-on well tailored lessons to help the student grasp the concept. I provide notes during my classes and give exercises and examples during the class. I also give after school work to help the student practice more on their own. Teaching brings me joy, so I take my time to help the student grasp the concept. I try my possible best to breakdown the concepts of the topic into bits, so as to help the students understand the topic and unserstand the progression and flow of the topic or concept. Learning can be fun when you are getting it right, so I make sure i give my students something to test out theirknowledge at each step of the learning process. This helps me ensure they are learning the right thing and understanding the concept to the best of their ability. Also, i like to have feedback from my students based on what they are learning. I need to know how good they are doing on the topic so as to help them make progress in class. I also like to have discussion with them about how they are doing in school to know how we can relate what they are learning in my classes with that which they are learning in their various schools.
