My classes are interesting and engaging with physical classes or on-line sessions with hybrid sessions if need be. I ensure to acquaint myself with the studying culture of my prospective students and teach them in line with their studying habits to get the best performance from them and ensure they excel in my courses.
I am versed in the use and application of few micro-soft office packages including the MS word, excel, power point and outlook. I am also knowledgeable in the application of few statistical packages including E-views, STATA, R Studio, Ox Edit.
I have a few publications in reputable journals to my credit. I encourage my students to take basic microeconomics and macroeconomics modules, quantitative techniques, and econometrics.
Economics as a discipline is taught by taking up the nature and scope of economics, then consider the micro foundations of economics including theories of demand and supply, consumption, production, distribution and exchange, welfare economics where I proceed to the macro basics of economics to cover national income and product accounting, stabilization policies, growth models, wage models, public expenditure theories. Macro-economics can also be extended to include development economics, monetary economics, labor economics, energy economics, public sector economics, health economics, applied and theoretical econometrics, trade/international economics, managerial economics, agricultural economics, environmental economics, behavioral economics, information economics, gender economics.
I love to teach using digital platforms like the zoom and google classroom presenting my lecture notes in Microsoft word documents and power point slides. I prepare contents for each module to be taught and keep in touch with my students through the avenues of online platforms like the google classroom.
