I have extensive experience and expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Cartography, and GI-data analysis. With a deep understanding of Remote Sensing Applications/Image Analysis and Geospatial technologies. Your research interests revolve around Land use/Land cover and Agriculture, Environmental Science, Climate variability, and Climate change adaptation. You also have significant experience in teaching at the university level.
Currently pursuing a PhD in Geography-GIS application at Bangor University, where I’m researching the effect of fragmentation on ecosystem service delivery across a precipitation gradient, using geospatial technologies for sustainable development in Nigeria. As part of my research, Ii have identified the land use/land cover in Nigeria, quantified the land cover levels of fragmentation and precipitation across Nigeria, and identified, mapped, and modelled ecosystem service distribution across Nigeria. Also evaluated how ecosystem service delivery varies across different levels of fragmentation and precipitation and estimated the potential impact of projected future changes in land use/land cover and climatic conditions.
Have also worked as a lecturer-researcher at Federal University of Kashere, where I have taught GIS, Remote sensing, and other related Geography courses at the undergraduate level. Additionally, have administrative responsibilities such as level Registration Officer/Coordinator, Student Orientation Officer, Remote Sensing and GIS Studio/Laboratory, Departmental Library Officer, Departmental Information Officer, and Field Course Coordinator.
