I have more that a year experience of teaching the English language after obtained my post graduate diploma in education. I am passionate and friendly teachers who believes in the open door policy, where students must feel free to air out their views. I am process and results driven. One on one interaction is my favourite teaching method, though sometimes I connect my learners to other learners across the world so as to have an interactive classroom and I also believe that group work does motivate learners. I prefer students who are hands on, who are in charge of their learning and those who discover things on their own rather than having to lecture to students. In English language learning, I take my learners through all the parts of speech, namely: nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, interjections, conjunctions, prepositions as well as sentences. This is because I believe in parts of speech as the bedrock of English language learning. Twice a week I give my learners a passage to read and answer comprehension questions as well as summary. Once in every two weeks I give them a composition task; guided and free compositions. The rest of the days I teach them language structures so thag they may be able to express themselves in English. My students write fortnight tests so that I can assess their progress and after every lesson, I give them daily exercises. I help them to speak, write and listen to english language.
