I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on English Language and History, as well as a Master's degree in History. With over five years of teaching experience spanning middle school and high school, along with a year of history lecturing experience at the college level, I have developed a strong foundation in education and subject expertise. My areas of specialization include US History, European History, African History, and Ancient History. I am particularly adept at integrating inquiry-based learning and differentiation strategies into my history lessons, resulting in enhanced student engagement and learning outcomes. By employing project-based approaches and fostering an environment rich in interactivity, I create vibrant and dynamic learning experiences that empower students to actively participate in their education. After the presentation and video, students actively engage in a daily activity that allows them to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical manner. This activity encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and independent problem-solving, helping students consolidate their learning and develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter. As we approach the end of the lesson, we review the students' responses from the activity and engage in a comprehensive discussion that encourages participation and reflection. This general discussion allows students to share their insights, ask questions, and collectively build a deeper understanding of the initial question or objective introduced at the beginning of the lesson. My lessons enable students to actively participate, explore, and internalize the historical content, promoting a deeper engagement and fostering a more meaningful learning experience.
