I have been working in Egypt, at the top international schools for more than 11 years and providing pupils with private tutoring for 3 years so far.
Although, it is not the teacher's job to entertain students , it is vital to engage them in the learning process, selecting a style that addresses the needs of diverse students at different learning levels begins with a personal inventory. As they develop their own style & integrate them with effective classroom management skills.

I myself like and prefer the hybrid or blended style, it follows an integrated approach to teaching that blends the teacher's personality and interests with the students' needs and curriculum appropriate methods. this blended style from my experience, gives a broad aspect to the student and more space to the teacher to create innovate and make the pupil have more interest in the subject taught. It is inclusive that enables teacher tailor their styles to the students needs and subject matter. Hybird or blended style, runs the risk of trying to be too many things for the students, promoting teachers themselves too thin and the successful teachers they share three common characteristics which is as follows:
- effective classroom/online management skills
- lesson mastery
- positive expectations
through these effective teaching methods nowadays , we as a teachers get to engage gifted students' as well as slow learning children.
This is where differentiated instruction and a balanced mix of teaching styles can help reach all pupils in classroom not just a few who respond well.
