Hi everyone! I have been tutoring for around four years now and have really enjoyed working with students so that they can achieve their goals. I am currently a second year medicine student at the University of Oxford.
I am enthusiastic and patient, allowing the student to be engaged and not afraid to make mistakes. I am a big believer in giving it a go and will always try my best to make the student comfortable and willing to ask any questions, then guiding them through any processes if needed. I adapt my lessons to each student, making sure to discuss with them what type of lessons and schedule they prefer as I understand that each student is unique and has their own methods of learning. I have an eye for detail and will always gently push my students to be the best they can be and carry on improving in whatever subject they want to work on.
I am very familiar with the GCSE curriculum and ranked in the top 1% of students in the UK and have worked with students before to achieve high grades. I have completed my High School Diploma (A-level equivalents) in Canada and also ranked in the top 1% in Canada. I am therefore familiar with both the UK and North American systems and able to adapt accordingly. I have also helped students write personal statements, prepare for entrance exams (UCAT, BMAT), and apply for medical school (had 4/4 offers at Oxford, Bristol, Southampton, and Barts).
