About me

I graduated as a quantity surveyor and worked in the construction industry for 10 years before giving up my full-time job and became a chef. I am a chef. cookbook author and tutor.

I set up the Asian Cooking Academy in 2024, a pop cookery school focusing on Southeast Asian cuisine and continuously running the Wagamama Chef Academy, which I co-created and run with Lifetime Training.

With over 15 years of culinary background, my teaching skill is not only focusing on Malaysian cuisine but other cuisines too such as Thai. Vietnamese, Indonesian, Taiwanese and Western.
