I am Norberto Alvarado, a professional hailing from Belize, Central America. With fluency in both Spanish and English, I bring a strong command of both languages to my work. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in "Food and Beverage" from Cuernavaca, Mexico, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science at the University of the People in Pasadena, California, USA. I embarked on this academic journey in April 2021 and anticipate completing my studies between December 2023 and January 2024.

Since 2019, I have been serving as a high school teacher, specializing in "Food, Nutrition, and Health." Throughout my tenure, I have also taught subjects such as "Art, IT, and Integrated Science," and currently, I am instructing "Spanish" as a secondary subject. Adapting to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, I successfully transitioned to online teaching, utilizing various digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, and Zoom. This experience has equipped me with the necessary skills to effectively conduct virtual classes, assign and grade coursework, and ensure an engaging learning environment.

In addition to my teaching role, I am also a part-time simultaneous Spanish-English-Spanish interpreter at an online US Call Center since March 2021. Within this capacity, I facilitate communication between LEP (Limited English Proficiency) clients and English-speaking representatives across sectors such as Medical Services, Auto Insurance, Health Insurance, Governmental Agencies, Utility Companies, and Banks. My proficiency in both languages enables me to bridge language barriers and ensure smooth and accurate interactions.

With a strong educational background, teaching experience, and proficiency in interpretation, I am well-positioned to contribute effectively in various settings.
