I taught English as a second language to students from all around the world for 3 consecutive summers at the University of Dublin.
Depending on the level which I assess in the first 15 minutes on meeting each candidate, I programme a lesson to meet each individuals needs.
I try to get to know the student by asking mundane questions whilst also inviting the student to ask me anything, thereby breaking the ice.
I use different techniques for different occasions maintaining interest and making the lesson fun whilst also ensuring that the Grammer and conjugation rules are respected.
