My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and goals. I believe that understanding mathematics goes beyond memorising formulas, it’s about developing problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence in tackling complex questions. That’s why I focus on building a strong foundation in key mathematical concepts while ensuring my students feel supported throughout their learning journey.

Each session typically begins with a review of previous topics to reinforce understanding and highlight any areas that may need further clarification. I then introduce new material in a clear, step-by-step manner, breaking down difficult concepts into manageable parts. My teaching approach emphasises active learning, encouraging students to apply their knowledge through worked examples, guided practice, and real-world applications of mathematical principles. I also integrate exam-style questions into lessons to help students familiarise themselves with different question formats, develop effective problem-solving techniques, and improve their ability to work under timed conditions.

My lessons are interactive and adaptable to suit different learning speeds and abilities. Whether a student needs extra support with fundamental topics or is aiming for the highest grades, I adjust my teaching methods accordingly. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop a deeper understanding of the subject rather than relying on rote learning. I also provide structured revision techniques and exam strategies to help students maximise their performance.

I have a strong academic background in mathematics, having achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Maths and an A in A-Level Maths. My degree in Management from LSE further strengthened my quantitative and analytical skills, allowing me to bring a logical and structured approach to my teaching. Additionally, my experience in coaching and teaching has given me the ability to connect with students, explain complex ideas in an accessible way, and motivate them to reach their full potential.

Ultimately, my goal is to help students develop confidence in their mathematical abilities, improve their problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic targets. Whether they are preparing for exams, looking to improve their grades, or simply hoping to strengthen their understanding of the subject, I am committed to providing high-quality, personalised tuition to support them every step of the way.
