I have been privately tutoring for the past 6 years and have used the past 3 years to gain experience in the mainstream classroom. I absolutely love teaching and making a positive impact on my learners along the way. I have worked with all ages and abilities, teaching English as a foreign language to refugees as well as travelling through the emotions of Shakespeare's Macbeth with GCSE students. Alongside English, I have loved teaching RE and Sociology, having interesting conversations along the way.

I use PowerPoints to deliver my online lessons and engage my students with starter activities, debate questions and exam style questions in my lessons. I also create end of topic revision sheets/tests to ensure that the learners have reached their targets and are on top of their learning. It is very important to me that my learners track their progress for the sake of motivation and accountability so I also provide tracking sheets also. I am open to speaking with my learners if they have any concerns as my main priority is that they are learning and enjoying the learning whilst doing so!
