I grew up speaking Arabic, studying in French and switching to English for my High School and University years. I am fluent (both written and oral) in these 3 languages, which allows me to express myself accurately and in different ways. It is quite challenging to learn a new language, especially when living in a country where you cannot necessarily practice it on a daily basis. Therefore, I would like to offer my time to teach individuals the basics and transfer my knowledge onto them, so that they can excel in their newly learnt language. I started tutoring IELTS students during my university years as well as privately to French and Arabic speakers, which requires a lot of patience and consistency. More importantly, my BSc (Neuro-Pharmacology) and MSc (Environmental Systems Engineering) allowed me to widen my vocabulary, learn scientific terminology, and develop my writing skills, on which I would happily share tips.
I encourage students to always practice and speak the newly learnt language with me, so that I can redirect them and give them tips on how to perfect their speech. I also work on accents and translation if required.
I look forward to teaching new individuals and to be with them in every step of the way so that they can see how easy it can be to learn English.
