I am a multi-instrumentalist (Piano, Singing and Guitar) who has been learning and performing music for as long as I can remember. My passion for music has enabled me to never abandon it despite university studies and work life. I have grade 7 piano at distinction level and currently working towards my grade 8. For the past 2 years, I have been private tutoring individuals in piano; witnessing their progression gives me great joy! It would be such a joy to add other musicians to the existing pool of next-generation musicians!

I use the Orff approach for younger students that are at beginner level. This combines music, movement, games, speech and colours to introduce musical concepts to children. A fun introduction to music will ensure the student's love and enthusiasm is maintained, which will be the driving force for any potentially fantastic and self-disciplined pianist.

For older students, we begin with classical pieces and eventually select a genre that they would like to grow further in so we focus on that stylistically but maintain their versatility by still working on a range of pieces. I also use practical and theory grade books (ABRSM) for older students or those that are ready to begin preparation for their grade examinations.

I like to get to know each student individually and adapt my approaches to maximise their learning based on their personal characteristics as I believe that once an individual relates and identifies themselves with their learning, they will exceed in their progression.
