I studied Psychology at Undergraduate as well as Masters level; a BSc Hons Psychology and MSc in Organisational Psychology. Following my studies I have worked in clinical settings as well as organisational settings delivering psychological interventions and training. I have a strong theoretical as well as practical background in the application of Psychology.

I deliver lessons tailored to students needs which are inline with the curriculum and learning objectives. Each lesson is typically 1 hour long. Critical thinking is very important in Psychology. I encourage students to learn in ways which will encourage them to evaluate the content they are learning and develop their critical thinking.

A level topics covered include social psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, practical approaches in psychology, psychopathology and research methods.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate psychology topics covered vary and will be specific to student's learning needs.

I use PowerPoint to deliver lessons. I make the lessons interactive and students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the class session. Each session involves a short evaluation at the end to ascertain to what extent the student has achieved the learning objectives for that lesson. I value student feedback which is helpful towards adapting and tailoring lessons.

I set homework tasks to complete between lessons which are a helpful way for the student to consolidate the learning they have achieved during the lesson. I provide marking and detailed feedback on individual homework tasks.

I am passionate in helping students learn and achieve their goals. I support students throughout their learning journey and this is reflected in the results they achieve.
