I am a native Italian who speaks three other languages and I know first-hand how hard it can be with the wrong teaching methods. I am an experienced writer both in Italian and in English and I'm a translator. What's important, when learning a brand-new language is to assimilate by using logic. Associating well-known rules with unknown ones, in another language, just to feel a little bit more familiar when everything is foreign. Learning a difficult language such as Italian can be easier when the student is understood. I pay attention to details and I know that the perfect lesson is the one where the student is free to talk and makes examples, even by making mistakes because we learn more through them, so my lessons start with a grammar rule and then I let my student experiment with the rule so they can understand it completely. Then we exercise by talking, making examples and learning words and common sentences so my student can start feeling more at ease with learning. I provide them with tests both written and spoken every time a new learning level is completed and with pdf files with the learned lesson and more examples to study.
