I have been a home tutor since 2012, regularly teaching up to 20 students per week. I offer individual private tuition in Mathematics and Sciences from primary through to A-Level. Aims as a private tutor are: To offer excellent and targeted learning which addresses specific learning challenges that the student is currently facing, To equip students with exam preparation strategies and help them learn techniques that enable them to achieve and succeed in their subjects, To encourage and motivate students to learn by recognising that when they enjoy their subject, they are more likely to experience success.
I am currently in my final phase at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen studying (MSc) Oil and Gas Engineering with an expected grade of merit/distinction upon graduation in addition to having achieved excellence in my Bachelor’s degree with a 2:1 grade, sciences have been my major for the most of my academic career, along which I was recognized as the best mathematics student twice during my secondary and university years and this reflects my proficiency in mathematics. Being young myself gives me a benefit into seeking the best out of my tutees. Having been in the game myself not long ago, infact still am, I know exactly what the exam boards are looking for and can tailor every student to their needs. I am very passionate about maths and think that I would be an excellent tutor. I am a very patient and friendly person and will do my absolute upmost to ensure that each individual reaches their maximal potential.
