My fondness for English inaugurated through being homeschooled, as I did not achieve the grades I needed at the age of 15. This gave me the drive to work extremely hard in order to pass. I share this with you to get my point across… Anything is possible with hard work!! And I will help you want to learn and stay eager to achieve this.
Through writing you can express how you decide to use the choices of words, to passionately capture the reader and make the audience comprehend the meaning behind a written piece. This is what I aim to conquer with my students, as pursuing these skills will enable you to obtain the knowledge to be able to manipulate the use of words to your advantage and become dauntless in applying the consumption of your education in English and within your chosen career.
Firstly, I will get to know my students by finding out what they struggle with, through testing each student on basic topics within GCSE English Language, such as language devices, writing skills, a small test regarding the phrases and language to use when comparing different sources and many more!
