Besides my A* in Biology, what should push you forward into hiring me is the fact that I am a student, I understand how frustrating it is to struggle with a subject and have cracked the code to making it work. I like to believe I have strong communication skills, crucial for tutoring. I have been told by my previous tutees that they felt comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, which is what I am for, as it is the most effective way to introduce and learn new concepts. Having always been very passionate about Biology and possessing good explanation skills helps me explain even the most complicated of concepts in an easy, logical manner, helping it stay in long-term memory. My lessons consist of a detailed explanation of the topic, then after answering any questions from the student the following hour will consist of studying techniques that helped me excel like; active recall, answering past paper questions and prepared notes.
