As an aspiring Biotechnologist, science has always been a major part of my life and I love to share my knowledge with other students to increase their appreciation for the subject. I tutored a number of different students in maths, general and specialized sciences and English in high school for 2 years.

As someone who has been mentored in the past, I understand the frustration one feels when they struggle to understand a concept and that feeling where one wishes that they could be explained that concept as per their learning style. Annotating diagrams or using online flashcards, every student has a different method of learning and therefore, I aim to explain concepts based on my student’s specific learning style.

I like conducting short 1 hour lessons as it is enough time to explain a concept and test my student’s understanding. However, I’m always on board if a student needs extra time to understand something or brush up on a concept last minute. Lastly, I just hope to create a comfortable environment for students so that learning doesn't feel like too much of a chore and instead, something they look forward to!
