Lesson Format:
The format of my lessons will depend on the subject I am tutoring and the learning style of my students. In general, I will consider incorporating a mix of instructional strategies, such as lectures, discussions, interactive activities, and practice exercises. I will also use a variety of media, such as videos, images, and simulations, to engage my students and help them visualize abstract concepts.
Content and Dynamics:
My lessons will be tailored to the specific needs and abilities of my students. I will work closely with my students to identify areas where they need help and develop strategies to address those areas. I will consider breaking down complex concepts into smaller, more manageable pieces and provide plenty of opportunities for practice and feedback. I will strive to create a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages my students to take risks and make mistakes.
Experience:
I have a strong foundation in the subject matter that I am teaching being Biology ; having completed a degree in Biomedical Science and implementing my knowledge in a 5 Years Job as an Associate Practitioner in Point of Care Testing.
I will be able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. I am patient, empathetic, and able to establish a rapport with my students. Additionally, I have pursued professional development opportunities, such as attending workshops and additional coursework, to enhance my knowledge and skills as a tutor and have been a student learning assistant for undergraduates at Middlesex University.
