My lessons are designed to help you achieve the highest grade in mathematics. I will begin my programme with an assessment to calculate your current grade ability. I will assess this by using past exam papers or by teaching a new topic and assessing your retention rate. Other assessment strategies would be questioning. This assessment will also include your performance on the first homework task.

Once I have an assessment. I will put in a plan which will include teaching topics during session and setting homework. The homework tasks will increase in difficulty each week, I will support you throughout this process. Each homework will improve your confidence, retention and speed.

During my sessions I will teach using the following teaching strategies such as independent learning, assessment for learning and scaffolding, this will increase quality and unsure you receive outstanding level of learning. My teaching will reinforce connection between other topics and methods, this will improve memory and deepen understanding.

Additionally I will give you access to my online mathematics course to support your revision and independent learning, and if you are in year 11, you will have access to message me throughout the week if you have any questions on the homework questions. I will respond either with hints or tips or with a video response.

I will aim for the highest grade with you, so even if you are working at a 5 or 6, I will still put in place a plan for you to achieve a grade 9. Given my expertise, if you are willing to work hard, I have seen many students achieve the highest grades in Mathematics.
