I am a highly enthusiastic and friendly individual, I will focus on ensuring you feel comfortable and am committed to delivering the best learning experience I can offer for you.
My key aim when teaching is to deliver a student-centred session and the dynamics will reflect this, I Will not simply talk at you but engage with you and allow you plenty of opportunity to speak and practice.
I am experienced in creating my own materials to match your interests and ensure the lessons are engaging while also being useful while employing tried and tested methods of teaching which I have picked up through training and past teaching experience.
I use a range of different materials and methods such as audio, visual and reading texts depending on what is being taught and your level. I understand what it is like to be in the position of a language learner as I have studied other languages and seen firsthand what works and what does not.
Most of the time I will provide you with materials for after the lesson that summarises the content of the class for you to revise or work through in your own time.
I have fast internet speed and am able to communicate primarily via Zoom but if you are unable I can be adaptable, I am able to travel to teach in person if you desire.
