The lessons would be from a specific book related to grade level. Firstly I started the topic with previous knowledge by asking from students if they know a little bit or wrong ideas they response it. This thing develop self confidence among students. After this I start the lessons which is to be taught by using lots of thoughts. Visual aids have a research backed ability to decrease learning time, improve comprehension and retention. So I like to present the short videos so that students can learn more effectively with great interest. I don't read from the slides because it is an ineffective way to teach. I keep my slide content to a minimum. Let the visual do most of leg work rather than a text. Storytelling is one of many presentation tips used by speakers across all industries. Telling a story with my content make my lesson more compelling. It's a whole lot easier for my students to remember details from story. Any set of data has a killer story to tell,it's just a matter of finding it. It's easy to share a ton of details about a topic that I know everything about it. I edit my lesson down to one main idea. I tell my students what I am going to say, and tell them what I just said. This works well on students. Introducing, delivering and reiterating a topic helps solidify it in the minds of any students.
I don't speak straight through my presentation without a little engagement. I used questions, role playing and small group discussions to get students involved.
