Why Choose Me as Your Tutor?

I’m passionate about teaching and excited to help students develop their skills in both English Literature and Law. With a strong academic background and a genuine enthusiasm for these subjects, I’m eager to share my knowledge and guide students toward success.

I graduated from Durham University with an upper 2:1 in Law, where I also studied literature as part of my degree. My academic journey began with top grades , 9s in both English Language and Literature at GCSE and an A in A-Level Literature. I also opted to study Law and Literature as a module in University. I’m currently working as a Paralegal in the Private Client sector, but I’ve always wanted to be involved in education, which is why I’m pursuing tutoring alongside my career.

Since many of my clients have disabilities, I have developed strong skills in adapting my communication and teaching methods to ensure optimal understanding for a variety of learners. Through regular correspondence with case managers and other health professionals, I have deepened this understanding, allowing me to effectively tailor my approach. If you require any additional support or adjustments, I am more than happy to accommodate your needs.

Since I’ve recently been a student myself, I have a fresh understanding of the challenges students face and the strategies that work best for effective learning. I also believe that preparing for university and future careers is an area where many students need more guidance, and I’m eager to offer that support.

My approach:

Tailored lessons that adapt to each student’s unique learning style.
A focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and exam techniques.
Providing insights into university preparation and career readiness in a competitive world.
I’m open to feedback and committed to creating a learning environment that suits the individual needs of each student. Currently, I’m available after 5 PM on weekdays and have weekend availability as well.

If you think I’d be a good fit, feel free to reach out to discuss availability. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals! Thank you :)
