As someone who has been an online and in-person tutor for over 2 years and has taught both mature and GCSE student, I create my own PowerPoints focused on content but also exam skills and questions from past papers. As someone who has been an online and in-person tutor for over 2 years and has taught both mature and GCSE student, I create my own PowerPoints focused on content but also exam skills and questions from past papers. Each of my lessons begin with a starter activity based on recall of content from previous lessons to ensure they are revisited. I also adapt my delivery of lessons based on the student’s needs and areas of weakness to improve academic performance and often give homework to assess a student’s improvement and capabilities on their own.
