I have first hand experience with different Molecular biology experiments and also various techniques. So, while explaining, I would mention the techniques and their brief principles in my PowerPoint presentation. I prefer interacting with my students very much and try to make them think over the topics I teach. I will use PowerPoint presentation for my classes and try to give one-to-one attention to every student. I am first author of a research paper on Immunology and also doing experiments on cancer biology. So, students who have a special interest in these two domains can freely interact with me. Also, It is my philosophy that higher education is a both way exchange of knowledge between student and teacher. I hope for the same kind attitude from my students.
Lessons will be aimed at university students majoring in biology. They will be delivered in simple lucid English language so that the students can grasp the concepts easily. I will focus mainly on Cellular, Molecular, and Immunology. I will also give basic understanding in cancer biology and genetics. Also, I would take small tests at a regular basis. The students will be informed beforehand. I would also cite scientific reviews and literatures to students for them to read to increase the knowledge in the subject. It is advisable that students have studied biology at high school so they are able to keep pace with the class. Now, all said, I look forward to interact with the students and work with them. That is all I have to say.
