About me

I have 18 years of teaching experience in a range of different schools. I plan lessons with pace that are designed to provide just the right amount of challenge to ensure progress is consistent.

I have experience in English Language and English Literature at both KS3 and KS4, developing lessons and resources for a range of abilities. I have also worked with GCSE exam boards as a marker and a team leader for many years of my career.

In addition to my school duties, I have privately tutored for the last 6 years. I enjoy the extra challenge of 1-1 tuition as it allows us to explore areas of development on much more detail, ensuring deeper progress is made.
