I am currently a biochemistry student at King's College London and have been teaching A-level biology and Chemistry for a year. My lessons are interactive and student lead I do not believe in information loading, I like my students to give me the foundation of their knowledge by using images to probe their knowledge and then work through and build off from their level by asking them questions and filling in gaps as needed. I often offer exam technique sessions and try to offer study skills. As our relationship matures, I like to develop a basic formula for my student's learning styles. My student's mental health is at the forefront of my mind so I am sure as I aspire to have a conducive environment so that they can more properly absorb the necessary knowledge.
As a person who has had a less-than-easy background in education due to understaffing which is so common in public schools, I have a lot of compassion for the struggles of other students and have developed the skills to produce more desirable grades. After 6 months of little to no support at school ( ( due to reasons I do not blame my institution for) both A-level Chemistry and Biology came out with an A* and A in both of these subjects.
All in all my mission is to make you a well-rounded student with or without me. I want us to be satisfied with the work we do together.
I hope to meet you soon!
