I have an experience of one year in the academic position as an Assistant Professor. I usually use power point presentation, documentary, reading and writing exercises for lesson learning.
I believe in the concept of learning by doing and hence I plan every lesson in a way that students not only learn the concept theoretically but can also practice it according to their conscience.
Each of my lesson have a specific plan starting with basic introduction and history of concept which moves towards to solving a practical question at the end of the lesson.
And when it comes to evaluation I give space for peer learning by allowing students to evaluate their classmates or batchmates. This enables the students to learn new concepts from each other and builts a healthy environment for everyone. However the end evaluation is done by the supervisor i.e., me.
Other than this I allow students to bring in their own concepts of learning methodologies so that the whole class can learn. I do this exercise so that students don't feel exhausted in the class by this their motivation to learn and help others to learn stays which enhances their skill of group working.
In a class everyone is a master and everyone runs the class and creating an environment of belongingness excites everyone to perform well.
But all of this should never be done at the cost of discipline.
I assure you that I will work hard in order to achieve the goals of better learning with the students.
