I have 2 years experience of teaching first year undergraduate students in psychology relating to sport and exercise. I lead seminars designed to apply theoretical knowledge to the world of Sport and Exercise, through activities that help students to experience these psychological concepts in action. My 1-1 experience comes from my training to become a Sport and Exercise Psychologist, working with individuals and groups of all ages and across many different sports - football, rugby, shooting, swimming, golf.. just to name a few!
I like to keep my sessions relaxed - you are not coming to me for additional stress, so I don't want to create that for you! I will likely use slides to help share information with you, but I will use discussions and questions to further support your learning and understanding of the material. I would like the sessions to be interactive to allow you to ask questions and talk about the concepts being learned.
I can tailor my tutoring to suit GCSE, A-Level, or Undergraduate level psychology needs - if you have any questions, please just ask!
I will be mostly available to tutor online, although I can commute within a reasonable distance within Lincoln, again, please ask if you're not sure!
I have a degree in Psychology, a masters degree in Psychology of Sport and Exercise, and I am now studying for a PhD exploring life skill development through sport. I can tutor you in the basics of psychology, through to their applications to the world of Sport and Exercise.
