I am well-versed in drawing and painting human portraits and plant life, particularly, using acrylic paint, tonal pencil and watercolour. The techniques I will show you are versatile, as I like to focus on cultivating your eye for detail and image translation using different colour palettes, textures, media and tones so that you can play with the techniques however you like!

I would love to demonstrate and teach you these skills by guiding you through the development of your own personal project.
This is a flexible process and usually goes something like this:
-Finding and documenting what inspires and interests you, through primary and secondary research.
-Creating in response to this research to build a bank of personal stimuli (e.g, relevant colour palettes, textures photography and mixed media) that will create a solid references point to add to your sketchbook.
-Experimentation, drawing from life and exploration of the term world-building which will to allow you to expand your perception of "art" and benefit from it's expansive and multi-dimensonal nature.
-Creating a final piece (as big or small as you like!), bringing together everything you have learned.
This brief is a guide and will be based on what serves you and the development of your creative practise, so we can dive into as little or as much as you like regarding each topic.
In my view, art is a vehicle for joy, self-expression, and learning more about yourself and what inspires you. Whether you consider yourself a beginner (or even a pro), I would love to share what I know, and learn something from you too!
