I started lessons with Nicole a few months ago from a beginners level after messing around with apps to better my Spanish both for work and for personal reasons. In that time I feel my level of Spanish has rocketed and would now feel like i could get by in most conversations I might need in Spain with a very obscure job and random conversation topics! I have had both face to face, and online lessons with Nicole and every lesson I am met with a smile and made to feel very comfortable and never feel like I can’t try to speak Spanish. Lessons are planned to what suits me week by week and progress is reviewed and areas revisited if needed. I would have no reservations in recommending Nicole, she’s a brilliant tutor and you would be made to feel comfortable and looked after, regardless of your level.

Nicole was my AS level Spanish teacher, and I’d never had such a blast learning languages before, nor indeed since. She made each class engaging, combining films, music videos, games, activities and textbooks in her lessons. We were also taught in Spanish, which can be challenging, but Nicole was a patient, understanding, encouraging and creative teacher who went the extra mile. I couldn’t recommend her enough for your tutoring needs- my classmates and I took Nicole up on her offer of tutoring after school the following year. She’d left our school at that point, but thanks to those sessions we all got good grades in our final A Levels, and I still remember a considerable amount of Spanish 6 years on!

I was tutored by Nicole for A-Level Spanish. Not only is she knowledgable but enjoys what she does. Her lessons involved covering the necessary curriculum but also exploring other Spanish-speaking countries outside of Spain and learning about elements of culture such as film and music, which made the classes more engaging and interactive - you feel like you’re learning more than how to do well in exams. She is attentive in the sense that she will be able to identify your weak points and help you understand complex concepts, no matter your level. My fluency in Spanish from GCSE to A2 improved massively because of this. I can undoubtedly say that Nicole’s classes have helped my grades as well as prepare me for studying Spanish further at university!

Without the extra tuition from Nicole, my son would most likely have dropped out of his Spanish GCSE. Nicole has the knack of teaching by stealth, making her sessions engaging and practical but still relevant by covering the required curriculum. I can honestly say Nicole helped boosts my son's confidence and he recalls his weekly visits fondly.

I was lucky enough to have almost 1-2-1 teaching with Nicole during my A2 year (sharing the class with 1 other). Nicole's lessons were a good mix of fun (Spanish and Latin music, films, and books) as well as the necessary grammar, reading, speaking and listening skills. Small class size meant lots of speaking opportunities, feedback was always timely and I came away with results I was very proud of. I am happy to say I continue to use and improve upon my Spanish skills years later; the classes with Nicole were an excellent foundation. 100% recommend!

Nicole tutored my son while he was studying for his Spanish GCSE. He loved her lessons and gained so much more confidence in his ability. He received a level 7 which he was absolutely thrilled about. Nicole made the lesson’s interesting and built up a good student/ teacher relationship with him.
