My goal is to provide relaxed, friendly lessons for my students, whereby they will feel comfortable to ask me for help if there is any confusion, but will also feel that they are pushing themselves enough that they can notice the progress they are making in their language proficiency.

I believe in short, frequent lessons, which would involve a lot of conversation practice, as I believe interacting verbally is the most effective way to learn a language. Alongside this, I would provide activities more closely focused on aspects of the language that myself or the student may feel they need to work on more, with the use of tools such as Google Docs, Quizlet and physical flashcards.

Having studied and lived in Brazil and Spain, I am now a speaker of both Portuguese and Spanish, and therefore think I would be best suited to providing English lessons to speakers of those languages. However, I would be equally open to teaching English to speakers of any language.
