Welcome those who wish to learn Portuguese! My name is Nicolas Toncheis and I hope we can meet, so that you can have the best learning of your life so far! In the past, I've worked twice as a teacher assistant in my undergraduate course, educating people, in varying degrees, about topics that ranged from data science to Heviside step functions, although I'm currently working in the Sales Department, in the automotive industry. Don't worry about the complexity, for my classes work with a more personnal approach: by talking with my students and understanding the topics that most interest them (favorite subjects, current projects that they might be working on, daily situations they might be involved in, or by working on the motive they chose to study said language in the first place) I can bring them up in the form of examples and exercises to create a more fluid and comforting learning environment. The classes are structured in a way that each lesson progresses your level, so that you can always improve on the familiarization of your new language and, since I work with all levels of Portuguese, you can always count on me to reach new heights! Our classes will be held via online meetings (I have a preference for Google Meet, but, I'm open to utilize alternatives, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams), with the use of PowerPoint presentations and virtual personalized handouts.
