My teaching methodology is based on analysing the student's games to identify their weaknesses and help them learn from their mistakes. Also, playing training games against my students, and analysing them too. After the first lesson, in collaboration with the student, I create a plan for moving forward. I believe all parts of the game are important: having a healthy opening repertoire, the middlegame and the endgame. Depending on the student's level and any special requests, I will tailor the lesson accordingly. I will also give homework to the student and share resources such as my own analysis of certain openings and/or tactical puzzles for the student to solve at home. I am more than happy to record lessons held online, so the student can watch them again whenever and as many times as they wish. I am famous for my broad and in-depth opening knowledge.

I have been an experienced coach for many years teaching both online and in person (at my home or the student's home). I have also taught people individually and in groups (for example gave a presentation at a chess club). Furthermore, I have taught people of all nationalities and age groups, from as young as 6 years old. Lastly, I have also run a chess club at a school, teaching children between 7-11 years old.
