The teaching will depend on the needs of the student, whether they need to learn basics or confidence with exam technique. I usually break the lesson up into 3 or 4 items, the first focusing on general revision, the second on recall of previously looked at material, third is new material and at the end I like to finish with a game or a challenge. I like to include lots of revision as the more times a students goes over a topic the more they will remember it and try to do this in as fun a way as possible.
