In my lessons, I like to use visuals such as pictures and videos to help the student by utilizing comprehensible input and building conversations around it to gamify the process making it more fun but also make it easier and deeper to understand. I have spent hours researching the best ways of learning languages and I believe making it more fun and fast to understand is the key to building a strong habit while also making it enjoyable which in tandem are the keys to achieving learning a foreign language.
Most importantly, however, I like to listen to the requests of the student and help them meet their specific goals. I like to plan around if a student likes or dislikes something as well as their specific goals as I believe everyone works differently.
By covering different subjects and topics, I can make the lessons more interesting too. For example, if a student has a strong interest in mythology or history, I can make a lesson around vocabulary to do with that topic so the student will have more control and more passion about what they are learning which I think is a crucial aspect of learning. Creating an environment of no stress and excitement helps boost confidence and helps build a wanting for more study time in the future which helps set students up for success and growth in the future.
With all of this, I hope I can help you meet your goals and also have a great time doing so.
