Nico Dalla Vecchia

I’m a London-based Music Composer, Producer, and Sound Designer with over 10 years of experience in the music industry, film, and advertising. I’ve worked with brands like Adidas and contributed to Grammy-nominated projects such as Andrea Bocelli’s album Sì.

An expert in Logic Pro and Ableton Live, I combine creativity with technical expertise to craft immersive and impactful soundscapes. As a teacher, I mentor aspiring composers, producers, and sound designers, helping them apply industry techniques and develop their own creative voices, blending my professional experience with a passion for teaching.

As a composer and producer, I collaborate with companies such as Position Music, BMG Production Music, Cavendish Music, Premium Beat, and Shutterstock Pro, helping to shape soundtracks and create original music for a wide range of projects.

I’m also a recording artist, producer, and touring musician. My ambient single Gossamer was released in May 2024 on Ólafur Arnalds' label OPIA Community and featured on Rival Consoles' takeover of Spotify's Deep Listening playlist. Additionally, my project Sink will release music on Max Cooper’s label Mesh Record in 2024.

In 2023, I released the EP AND, including pieces developed from the score I wrote for Generation, an AI-driven contemporary dance short film. This record features production by Rival Consoles. The original film was screened at TED2024 in Toronto, premiered on Short of the Week, won first prize at the Runway AI Film Festival in NYC, and was also featured at the BFI Future Film Festival.

With all my experience in the music industry, performance, and production, I’m excited to pass on my knowledge to the next generation of musicians. I am passionate about teaching and sharing the techniques, creativity, and technical skills I’ve learned throughout my career. My goal is to help students not only master their craft but also discover their unique voice in music.
