My lessons involve active question and answer as a topic or concept is explained to ensure students are always on track with their understanding and can feel comfortable to communicate any lacks or difficulties they may have in the subject matter.

When going through a concept, I also follow a “I do, we do, you do” structure where I will initially demonstrate how to go about a question as an example, then the student and I would go through another example, primarily led by the student to increase their confidence in answering questions; then finally, I would allow the student to answer questions on their own, with support any time they are stuck.
