About me

An experienced teacher and education consultant I have written seven chemistry textbooks which take the reader from the concept of the atom to cutting edge techniques.

An experienced teacher and education consultant I have written seven chemistry textbooks which take the reader from the concept of the atom to cutting edge techniques.

These books engage the reader with interests such as pheromones, natural food flavourings and amino acids. Five of them are available here: and all are available on good online shops including Amazon.

I like to use animations and short videos in my lessons as they engage the students. I also attempt to use humour but the most important aspect is working from the position of the student.
