I’m a qualified TEFL tutor with a degree in French, German, and Economics. I’ve been teaching for 18 months. I have also had experience living in foreign countries, so I understand the challenges you might face learning English. I offer a free trial lesson, and subsequent 1-hour lessons are £20.

I got my TEFL certificate three years ago, but I’m also qualified in other ways. I used to be a foreign language student too, so I believe my teaching will be more relevant to your needs because of that. If you want to learn Business English, my experience in marketing and financial services means I’ll teach you practical English, not just from a book.

As your tutor, my first job is to figure out what you need to learn. Before we begin lessons, you’ll take a test so I can understand your English level. Then, during your free trial lesson, we’ll decide which specific areas to focus on. From there, I’ll design your teaching to help you improve in the areas you want.

I believe that the best teaching happens when students are fully engaged and enjoy the lesson. My classes are fun because bored students don’t learn well. We use Zoom video calls and the interactive Microsoft Whiteboard, so you’ll write, speak, listen, and read. I use materials from BBC Learning and the British Council, designed for TEFL students.
