I have used my first class honours degree in Zoology to take me on a journey, from working in remote Shetland communities to farm diversification initiatives in the Republic of Ireland and to work in Queens University on changing farm practices and sustainable development. I have a deep interest in assisting communities to adapt to Climate Change through better connection with nature. My approach to teaching is to use visual as well as written methods to understand topics and make connections between them that can improve exam scores. I can help make studying meaningful by showing how what is being learnt relates to real life issues and challenges. If you have adhd, I have experience of that also and can relate to your needs.
